Following a lengthy illness, Aline Madore died December 22, 2008. Her loving family was by her side at Tri-Town Extendicare Nursing Home. She was 88. Mrs. Madore was born in Cobalt on January 2, 1920 to Wilfrid Bilodeau and Claudia Rivard. She lived in the Tri-Town area all of her life and had worked at Temiskaming Hospital until her retirement. She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and her family was her priority. Mrs. Madore was predeceased by her parents; her husband Lorient Madore in 1992; her sons-in-law Norris Brown and David Ladouceur; and by her grandson Gregory Birtch. She is survived by her loving children Lina (Ray) Vannier of Callander, Irene (Bud) Shaver of North Cobalt, Claudette Ladouceur of Elliot Lake, Denise (Laurel) Birtch of Port Dover, Diane Guilbeault (Réal Gagnon) of Val Thérèse, Wilfrid (Carole) Madore of Haileybury, Fernand Madore of Cobalt and Carole Gagnon of Thornloe. Also lovingly remembered by 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchidren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Also her sisters Anita Laframboise of North Bay and Valancia Léveillé of Haileybury. The funeral mass was celebrated on December 29 from Holy Cross Catholic Church. Spring interment will take place beside her husband at the Haileybury Catholic Cemetery.
