Montana Heon With heavy hearts, the family announces the death of Montana Dawn Heon at the age of 16. Montana passed away at the Hospital for Sick Children with her loving family and her best friend Olivia by her side following a long illness on January 13, 2009. Montana fought her illness with a positive outlook over the last two years. She never let it bring her down and accepted whatever life presented. She was a happy girl who always put others first. Montana is remembered as a strong and amazing girl and will be sadly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Montana is the cherished daughter of Brett and Tanya (Moore) Heon of North Cobalt, the loving sister of Cierra, and will be missed by her puppy Shayla. Montana will be sadly missed by her grandparents G-Ma and G-Pa Moore, Joan and Jude Heon; and by her aunt Shannon Moore and cousins Kianna Moore, Tiffy, Taylor and Micky Heon. Also left to mourn are many aunts, uncles and numerous friends whom she loved. The funeral service was held January 19 from the Haileybury Pentecostal Assembly. Pastor Dan Thompson officiated.
