GREENWELL, Joseph - In loving memory of Joseph Greenwell, 92 year, who passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 at Extendicare-York, Sudbury. Beloved husband for 60 years of Patricia (nee Birrell) Greenwell of Sudbury. Loving father of Dan (Denise), Brock (Debbie) all of Sudbury, Heidi (Bob) of Thunder Bay, Pamela (Yannick) of Brazil and Sally predeceased. Cherished grandfather of Naomi, Audrey, Shane, Jesse and Lana and great grandfather of Eric and Emma. Dear son of Alexander and Celina Greenwell both predeceased. Dear brother of Percy predeceased (wife Kay of Vancouver B.C.), Frank and Anna both predeceased. Dear brother-in-law of Mickey Prime (Marilyn) of British Columbia, Dorothy Brisson (Andre) of Capreol and predeceased by Brian, Earl and Allen. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Grateful appreciation to Shirley Cole and Denise for all their help. Joseph was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He served with the Merchant Marines in WWII. Joseph worked as an operator at CIL for 33 years and he owned and operated Greenwell Electric for 50 years. He enjoyed time spent at his camp on Ham Lake and especially liked to travel. Funeral Service in LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street at Hazel St. Monday, January 19th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
