McMAHON, Irene Elaine (nee Kuitunen) - Peacefully at her residence in her 59th year on Friday August 13, 2004. With courage, dignity, strength and grace, she completed her life journey. Beloved wife of Terry McMahon of 41 years. Loving mother of Dennis McMahon. Dear grandmother of Adam Barrett. Born in Thunder Bay (Port Arthur), Ontario January 5, 1945. Predeceased by her parents Edna Lorraine (1989) and Donald (1991) Kuitunen. Irene and family moved to the Peterborough area in 1986. Irene was a longtime employee of Fairhaven Home for the Aged. Irene loved the outdoors, gardening, boating and touring the country side seeking her favourite antiques. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to Fairhaven Capital Campaign or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
