SPIN, WILLIAM GEORGE April 8 1947 - August 30, 2004 "In my Father's house are many rooms,ÉI will go and prepare a place for you.." After a courageous battle with cancer, Bill is now in a better place, released from his pain and suffering. Bill leaves behind his wife Cathy and children Kayla and Eric. He is missed and lovingly remembered by his sisters Ann (Joe) Vangemeren, Jean Spin, Helen Wismer, Pauline (Max) Gross, and his brother Pete (Sheila) Spin. He also leaves behind nieces Inge, Jody, Kim, Tina and Ashley and nephews Justin, Eric and Jonathan. Bill was predeceased by his parents William and Sophie Spin and by his brother-in-law Leslie Wismer. Bill was employed with Ontario Hydro, Thorold Hydro, and retired from Hydro One in 2002. He moved his family to New Liskeard in May 2003 where he succumbed to his illness. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you is extended to Dr. P. Gleeson for his compassionate care and understanding and to the nursing staff at the Douglas Memorial Hospital during Bill's brief stay in Fort Erie. A memorial service to honour Bill's life will be held on Saturday, September 4th at 3:00 pm. at St. Andrew's United Church, Morrison Street, Niagara Falls. Rev. John James officiating.
