MABEN, John - Born in Glasgow, Scotland on October 13th, 1922. Passed away Tuesday, August 31st, 2004, after a long illness. Predeceased by his wife Ellen Whitefield Maben. Survived by daughters Maggie McGurk (Ed), Nancy Maben, Betty Eagles (James), granddaughter Melissa Eagles, grandson Jamie Maben, great-grandson Brett Maben, brother Tom and sister Nan from Auckland, New Zealand, and brother John from Glasgow, Scotland. John was a 32nd degree Mason, a past District Deputy Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Niagara Men's Chorus and a tenor and cast member with the former Rainbow Productions Theatre Company. Cremation has taken place. John's family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
