BELANGER, Jacques L. - January 2, 1933-March 14, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacques in Rigaud / Hudson after a long and courageous battle with cancer. After a financial career with Merrill Lynch and Wood Gundy, Jacques retired to the Hudson area where he enjoyed many happy years and made many new friends. He leaves to mourn his dearest friend and companion Jocelyne Graham, sister Julie (Jean-Pierre Audet), his niece Catherine (Christopher Nurmi) and nephew Mark Donohue (Maryse Rochon) and his faithful dog "Monks". A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at the St-Thomas Aquinas Church, 413, Main Road in Hudson. Family and friends are invited to a reception following the service. Many thanks to the Oncology Dept. at the Lakeshore Hospital, Ron Hryniowski at the Hudson Medical Center and Judy Tellier and her wonderful team at NOVA Hudson.
