HACHEY, Gilles M.J. - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing away of Gilles Hachey (age 71) Sunday March 22, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake. Loving father of Joseph, Paul, Marc, Jill-Anne Hachey (Kirk), cherished grandfather of Kaylee Fisch. Gilles is survived by his mother Emmerique Hachey and his many brothers and sisters. A longtime resident and business person of this community, Gilles will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. As his request, cremation and a memorial service which will be held Thursday March 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Gentle Shepherd Church, on Ottawa Ave., with Doug Price officiating. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
