ROY, Rose Rita "There is a time to live a time to celebrate a time to die and a time to remember." -ECCL.3:155 We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Rose Rita 1924 - 2004. Predeceased by her parents Leo Roy and Ursule Trudell, her brothers Armand, Aurele, Lionel, Etienne, Fr. Adrien and a sister, Sr. Marie Roaire. Survived by Bernadette, Rosaire and wife Faye, Alma Menard and husband Joseph. Cherished by many nieces and nephews and her caring friends Jeanne and Leandre St. Amand and Johanne and Mark Laprise. Rose Rita was a teacher. A Leader of Young Catholic Student (Y.C.S.). She planned and organized the first Diocesan Congress of Catholic Youths. She was a religious. Former students will remember her as (Mother Francis Xavier). Her kindness and generosity to her family, friends, Church and community will forever be remembered. Rose Rita was a longtime member of Le Club De L'Amitie. "Some people come into our lives and quickly go, some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same." Friends and relatives may call at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S., Chatham, from 7-9pm. on Saturday October 30 and again on Sunday October 31, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. where Parish Prayers will be offered 3 pm. on Sunday and will include Le Club De L'Amitie. There will be visiting at Immaculate Conception Church, Pain Court, on Monday from 10 until 11 am. and a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated there Monday, November 1 at 11 am. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Pain Court. Donations to Roy Cemetery Maintenance Fund would be appreciated by her family.
