MENNIE, Evelyn M. (Bowman) - Passed away on Monday October 4, 2004 at Eventide Home , in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late D. Bruce Mennie (1995). Dear mother of Judy Sibley, Jane and her husband Bill Harrold, and Barbara and her husband Dan Matkowski, all of Niagara Falls; Loving grandmother of Robert (Genea) and Kyle (Natalie) Sibley, JoAnn, Debbie (Rich Trenholm) and Peter (Kim) Harrold, and Derek, David and Katie Matkowski. Loving great-gramma of Eli, Emma and Haven. Predeceased by her sister Isabel Hicks. Born in Niagara Falls, she was a resident all of her life. A lifetime active member of Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church, Evelyn was very involved with both the Choir and the Ladies Aid of the church, and was a former member of the J-Singers. Evelyn's family will receive friends at the Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 5917 Main Street, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday. Service to celebrate her life will be held at Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 11:00 o'clock. Interment to follow at Stamford Presbyterian Cemetery.
