KOCH, Stefania Anna (nee Bubelka) -of Niagara Falls formerly a lifelong resident of Chippawa passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday October 14, 2004 at the age of 96.Ê Born on August 19, 1908 in Sucany, Slovakia Stefania came to Canada in 1930 where she settled in Montreal and where she also met and married her late husband John Koch.Ê In 1940 they moved to Chippawa where her husband was employed at the Norton Company until his death in 1958. While in Chippawa, Stefania worked as a Nanny and a housekeeper for several years.Ê Stefania was an active member of Sacred Heart Church and also of the Sacred Heart C.W.L. Stefania is resting at the Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes, 5917 Main Street where friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.Ê Vigil prayers will be held on Sunday at 8:00 o'clock.Ê Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Chippawa on Monday at 11:00 o'clock.Ê Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Chippawa.Ê Donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church.
