CHAMPAGNE, Rene 74 years. Passed away on October 14, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. Survived by his wife Mildred Doughty. Predeceased by his parents Domina and Rosina Champagne. Loving father to Gloria Hamilton, Shirley and Tom Nelson, David Champagne and Heather. Dear grandpa to Micheal and Candy McAuliffe, Michelle and Rod Gagne, Christine and Jeff Dowhan, Jacquelyne and Alex Nelson, Derek Hurlehy, Cody and Scott Menzies and Kevin Champagne. Great-grandpa to Dana, Benjamin, Matthew and Payton. Dear brother to Ann Filion, Loretta Hodgins and Alice Giroux. Predeceased by his brother Robert and his sister Yvette. Rene was a member of the Iron Workers Local 700. Resting at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (254-3223) on Saturday, October 16, 2004 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow.
