BUTLER, George Joseph - Passed away suddenly at his home in Fort Erie on Monday, October 18, 2004 at age 80, survived by his brother Edward and his wife Lorraine and sister-in-law Patricia (Ralph), also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, predeceased by his parents Cecil and Jeannetta, brothers Eugene and Ralph and sister Irene Gibbs. George was born in Fort Erie (Bridgeburg) where he lived his entire life. He was a barber for many years and also worked at Fleet Aircraft and Gould Battery. He attended St. Andrew's Knox Presbyterian Church where he sang in the choir. Friends will be received at the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes, 21 Wintemute Street on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 21 at 11:00 o'clock. Interment will follow at McAffee Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Andrew's Knox Presbyterian Church. A memorial tree will be planted to honour the memory of George in Memory Woods. - 10/20/2004 - ID5042884
