IMPENS, Charles Joseph 83 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, October 18, 2004 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Rita (Lamotte) for 61 years. Dear father of Linda Marentette and husband Louis, Catherine Sumner and husband Larry, James Impens and wife Diana, John Impens and wife Judy, Bob Impens and wife Robin, Pat Impens and wife Judy, Perry Impens and wife Marlene, all of Leamington; Charles Impens and wife Sandra, Kingston. Loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Catherine Casier, Tillsonburg; Cornelius Impens, Leamington, Rachel Jeffery and husband Elton, Leamington; Maurice Impens and wife Gloria, Belmont; Leona Williams and Tom, Leamington; Emma Moody, Leamington; the late William (1990), the late Ferdinand (2000) and wife Florence and the late Mary Cappelle (2002) and husband Roger. Special brother-in-law to the Lamotte Family. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by his parents Catherine and Cornelius Impens. Charles' 6 sons will be his pallbearers. Charles was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Thursday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday, October 22, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. then to St. Michael's Church for Mass to celebrate Charles' life at 12 noon. Fr. Pat Fuerth officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Leamington. Knights of Columbus Council #4501 prayers, Thursday at 8:30 p.m. Parish prayers Thursday at 8:45 p.m. Memorial donations made by cheque to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Michael's Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
