PIVA, Daria (Elvira) -Passed away peacefully, with her loving children at her side, at St. Joseph's Health Care in Hamilton on Thursday October 21, 2004 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Dante Piva (1981). Loving and devoted mother of Frank (Dianne) Piva of Hornby, Lina (Robert) Johnson of Burlington and Mary (Rob) Klassen of Kitchener. Cherished Nonna of Daniel, David and Jessica Piva, Amanda, Christina and Joshua Klassen and Alexandra Johnson. Also surviving is her brother Guido (Margaret) Morandin of Niagara Falls and her sisters Gabriella Col and Milena (Efram) Tonellato of St. Catharines. She will be sadly missed by her close friends. Predeceased by her brothers Lino, Ugo and Max Morandin. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Mrs. Piva donations to St. Joseph's Health care would be appreciated by her family.
