KOUTZUN, Agnes Inez After several courageous battles, this final bout has taken our precious mother and grandmother on October 26, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Western Campus. Born June 22, 1926 in Windsor, Ontario - she lived here all her life. Predeceased by her husband William "Bill" (October, 1997) and her parents Pio (1948) and Amabile (1968) Melchior. She is survived by her loving daughter Barbara Havens, beloved mother-in-law of Gary Havens, her cherished grandsons David and Aaron Havens, dear sister Frances Scodellaro, sister-in-law Katherine Andrus (San Diego, CA), nephew Dennis Scodellaro (Burlington, Ontario) and valued friend James Bensette. Her smile would light up a room and her love for her family was so deep that the value of life she taught all of us was to live, laugh and love each other together as a family. Agnes faced many obstacles with her health over the last several years but she was a fighter. Her will to live for her family was very powerful and inspirational. She was our strength and our sunshine. Our "head of the family" will be deeply missed but we know that the quality of time we spent with her will forever be embedded in our hearts and will be passed on for many generations. Today she is reunited with her dear husband Bill. May they rest in peace together, happily ever after. Agnes was a member of the Italian Women's Club G. Caboto Auxiliary and CWL at St. Angela Merici Church. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, October 28th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will be received on Friday October 29, 2004 at St. Angela Merici Church 980 Louis Avenue from 10:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
