GATES, Seldon Bob Passed away suddenly in Arizona on October 26, 2004, at 81 years of age. He will be sadly missed by Ruth Gates. Loving father of Carolyn Gates, David and wife Bev Gates, Cathy and husband Jimmy Talbot, Bruce and wife Diane Gates, Shari and husband Steve Sharron, Keith and wife Jacqui Gates, Douglas Gates, Maryann Gates, and Janice Gates. Cherished grandfather of twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by granddaughter Dana Talbot. Dear brother of Daisy Ward and husband Roy of Nova Scotia, the late Hilda Collins, Muriel Veinot, Goldie Rogers, W. Cecil Gates, and Pauline Young. Bob was the owner of Gates Body Shop in Windsor. and Bob and Daves Custom Collision in Windsor. He belonged to the Windsor Senior's Club on Goyeau Street and was a member of the R.C.A.F. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Families First Funeral Home & Chapel (969-5841), 2670 Dougall Ave. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
