Kays: E. M. "Lyn" - Peacefully at the Welland General Hospital on Thursday October 28, 2004. Lyn Kays, beloved wife of Tom. Loving sister of Dr. J.E. (his wife Vera) Nixon of Vancouver and Roy (his wife Norma) of Woodstock. Fondly remembered by her brother in law Ed (his wife Jean) Kays of Woodstock and Anne Cortesis of Cobourg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by her companion Matilda her many friends and neighbours. Lyn retired from the Ontario Jockey Club where she served as the secretary to the Publicity Director and the Director of Security. Lyn was a proud member of the Eastern Star and served as the census commissioner in 1976. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie, entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 until service time at 2 p.m. in the Benner Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place in the Anglican Church Cemetery in Woodstock on Monday at 12:00.
