BRACKEN, Celina (nee Laporte) 85 years, Thursday, October 28, 2004 at WRHC-Metropolitan Campus. Beloved wife of the late Donald (1975). Dear Mom of Lorrainne Anger and Fred. Dear Grandma to Jeffrey and Roxanne Anger, Dave and Kim Millin, and Justin Anger. Dear Meme to Greyce, Dakoda, Eva, and Chase. Dear sister of the late Harvey and Theresa Laporte, Lawrence Laporte and the late Grace, the late Leah Desrosier and the late Pete, Rita Dupuis and the late Paul, the late Ed (Chief) Laporte and Alice, Jeannette Trotechaud and Joe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Celina was a member of the Good Neighbour Club of Belle River. Visiting Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral procession leaves Monday, November 1, 2004 at 10 a.m. from Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River, 728-1500 to St. Simon & St. Jude Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Good Neighbour Prayers Saturday at 4 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 8 p.m. Interment St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Celina Bracken in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication will be held Sept. 25, 2004. All are welcome.
