MEYETTE, Francis Gerald (Frank) - Suddenly at his residence on Sunday, October 31st, 2004 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Antonow (September 23, 1970). Loving father of Joan and husband Jim Cameron of Sydenham, Carol Meyette-Hoag and husband Michael Hoag of Cavan, Paul Meyette and wife Lyndal of Red Deer, Alberta and Michael Meyette and wife Linda of Belleville. Dear grandfather of Mark and Paul; Colin and Kaitlyn; Rachel and Kelly Nicholson, Sarah; and Carmen. Proud great grandfather of Rhett Nicholson. Pre-deceased by his parents Charles Meyette and Annie Tobin and brothers Charles and Joseph Meyette. Frank lived his life to the fullest. His passion for sports, his commitment to helping others and his love for his family were an inspiration to those who knew him. He played many sports when he was young, and carried that energy with him the rest of his life as a founding member of the International Catholic Deaf Association, and as a Board member with the Canadian Hearing Society. His long years as a volunteer garnered him many awards and recognition. Visitation at DUFFUS FUNERAL HOME, 431 George Street South from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. (Parish Prayers 3:45 p.m. Thursday). Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, November 5, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
