Mrs. Beatrice Margaret Sauliner September 21, 1914 - April 28, 2009 SAULNIER, Beatrice Margaret Halifax, passed away Tuesday April 28, 2009, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Cape St. Mary, Digby Co., she was a daughter of the late Dosithe and Josephine (LeBlanc) Doucette. She was a teacher for a number of years in Saulnierville Station. After her marriage she later moved to Halifax with her husband and then worked with Simpson Sears. Later adopting Diane, Beatrice became a home maker, looking after her family was her primary role. She is survived by daughter, Diane (Tom) Collins, Halifax; grandchildren, Stephen and Lyndsay; several nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and encouragement to take on each day to the age of 94. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Felix; eight brothers, and three sisters. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., where visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Dutch Village Road. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, Father Bernie O'Neil officiating.
