ROSS, Elsie (nee Weiser) On Sunday, April 19, 2009, in her ninety-seventh year. Daughter of the late Leah Braunstein and the late Samuel Weiser. Predeceased by her beloved husband and partner of forty-eight years, Joseph Ross. Survived by her loving son and his wife, Dr. Gerry and Gayle Ross, and by her devoted grandchildren, Miranda and Burton Ross, who helped her greatly in her later years. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Henry S. (Bud) Weiser, Paula and Jack Rosenbloom, Rheva and Irwin Allan Lack, Bertha and Joe Kramer, Rachel and Samuel Meister. Dear sister-in-law of Judy and Irwin Levine, Jean and Joe Cohen, the late Mary and the late Ben Spillerman, the late Mandy Ross, the late Pearl and the Abe Margolese, the late Dorothy and the late Sam Schwartz, the late Bernice and the late Eddy Galganov. Sadly mourned by her many nieces and nephews. For many years, Elsie served with distinction in the Beth Ora Sisterhood. She will be greatly missed. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, April 22, at 3 p.m. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva private.
