BLAIN, Raoul (Ralph) A resident of Ridgetown. Passed away at his home on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the age of 80. Born in Tilbury, son of the late Alphonse and Melina (Brouillette) Blain. Beloved husband of Agnes (Coveny) Blain. Dear father of Allan Blain & his wife Lisa of LaSalle, Patricia Baird & her husband Gary of Okanagan Centre, B.C., Rick Blain and his wife Nancy of Whitby, Dennis Blain and his wife Brenda of Calgary, Alb., Gisele McLarty and her husband Doug of Essex, and Gary Blain & his wife Sharon of Russeldale. Grandfather of 14. Brother of Sophie Marentette, Belle River, Lorraine & Don Bulley of Tilbury, Clarenece & Rita Blain of Tilbury, Rene & Pauline Blain of Tilbury, Alphonse Blain of Tilbury, and the late Dona Blain (1961) and Eugene Blain (1999). Brother-in-law of Eileen Desimpel and Madeline Blain. Raoul was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridgetown. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. East, Ridgetown on Saturday from 7-9pm and on Sunday from 2-4:30pm & 7-9pm. Parish prayers at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridgetown on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 11am with Rev. Martin Johnston the celebrant. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery.
