McDOWELL, James Francis - Peacefully at Palliative Care on November 11, 2004 in his 67th year. Best friend and loving husband of M. Ann McDowell (nee Hewie) for 47 years. Loving father and friend to Jim Jr. (Debbie), Peggy (Tom) and Ted (Diane) McDowell. Cherished grandfather to Scott, Jaime, Amanda, Brandee, Samantha, Kirsty and Alyssa. Dear brother to Craig. Predeceased by his parents, David and Irene and his brothers, David and Ted. James was known for his love of people and the great outdoors. A celebration of life will be held at the Peterborough Naval Association (24 Whitlaw Street) from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, November 14, 2004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peterborough Regional Health Centre (Palliative Care Unit).
