FRENETTE, Adrienne Georgette Born in Budapest Hungary, March 18, 1944; died in Windsor, Ont. November 18, 2004 after a long and difficult illness. This beloved wife, mother, sister and friend left this life with dignity and grace, embraced by her family and her strong faith. Loved by her devoted husband, constant caregiver and best friend Wayne, she also leaves adoring sons Michael and David and her much loved daughter-in-law Wendy. A doting "BABA" she will be sorely missed by her grandsons Bradley and Jeffrey. Adrienne leaves her loving brother, Peter Hrastovec and his wife Denise. Wayne's family Ivy and George Vanderzanden; Greg and Madeline Frenette; Janice and Anthony Paniccia and Annette Frenette as well as a host of nephews and nieces and family in Croatia and California will remember her fondly. Adrienne is predeceased by her parents Antica and Stjepan Hrastovec; her mother and father-in-law Cyril and Violet Frenette and her brother-in-law Lawrence Frenette. Born near the close of W.W. II Adrienne and her mother lived in Zagreb, Croatia until they were reunited in Canada with her father in 1955. Trained as a medical technologist Adrienne was a dedicated employee of Harper-Grace Hospital in Detroit for 40 years. A rare and debilitating illness did not preclude her from enjoying the love of family and many caring and devoted friends. Adrienne enjoyed travel, cooking and the many genuine friendships she nurtured in her well-lived life. Donationa to Hotel Dieu I.C.U. Education Fund or the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. The family will receive friends at Janisse Bros. Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. on Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. A transfer will be made to St. Rose de Lima Church, 891 St. Rose Ave. on Monday at 9 a.m. till the time of the funeral mass at 10. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A tree will be planted in memory of Adrienne Frenette in the Janisse Bros. - Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005.
