MONDOR Fern Surrounded by her loving family, Fern Mondor passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2006 at the Agape Hospice after a courageous struggle against breast cancer at the age of 56 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, three sons, Warren (Jamie) Fast, Jason Fast and Stephen (fiancee Christina) Fast; her parents, Laurien and Alice Mondor; one brother Claude (Marguerite) Mondor; five sisters, Terry (Louis) Beausoleil, Louise (Dennis) McBurney, Pauline (Fernie) Lalonde, Suzie (Dick) Porter and Claire (Denis) Lesperance; two grandchildren, Jade and Xavier Fast; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and her very special friend Aly Jadauji; her sisterhood and many, many friends. A Celebration of Fern's life will be held at Advent Lutheran Church (11 Scenic Acres Gate N.W.), Calgary, AB on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Fern's memory may be made to the Salvation Agape Manor Hospice, 1302 - 8 Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1B8.
