HARRIS, Peter Reginald - Passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital on Friday, November 26, 2004 in his 77th year, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Peter will be sadly missed by Viola, his beloved wife of 55 years. Loving father of Steve and his wife Laura of Ottawa and Randy and his wife Janet of Palgrave. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Staycie, Spencer and Karolyn and his sister Pat Miller of Gravenhurst. Predeceased by his father Leonard Wade, mother Annie May, sisters Hazel, Daisy and Doris and his brothers Leonard, Tom and Kenny. Peter will be especially missed by his lifelong buddy George Boller and his wife Kae. Peter retired from the Ontario Northland as Superintendent of Train Operations after 45 years of service. Visitation will be held at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) today, Monday, November 29th from 2 to 3 p.m. followed by funeral services in the chapel at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served at the Martyn Funeral Home Reception Centre after the service. If desired, donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
