THEISEN, Edward William, Peacefully at home in his 85th year surrounded by his loving family. Ted is survived by his adoring wife of 56 years, Margaret (Holland) Theisen. Cherished father of Holly (John) Balasak, Niagara Falls. Predeceased by a daug hter Karen Elizabeth (1972). Papa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kelly of Chilliwack, B.C. and Scott and Karen of Niagara Falls. Dear brother of Jack Theisen of Thorold. Predeceased by sister Vera (1943). Ted was a WWII Veteran, serving in Europe with the 48th Regiment, St. John's Fusilliers. He worked for the Ontario Paper Co., retiring after 44 years of service. His joy was his family; his passion was his garden. Special thanks to Dr. Raymond Harb, Jen and He ather of CCAC for their kindness, compassion and care in fulfilling Dad's final wish. We will be forever grateful. At Ted's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Ted to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Thorold Horticultural Society would be appreciated by the family.
