RENAUD, Emily Maxine (nee Ellison) Passed away peacefully in the Tranquility Room at Huron Lodge. Wife of Isadore "Bud", deceased. Mother of Rohana, Bob and wife Wendy. Grandmother of J. Scott, Nicole, Jeffrey, Michael, Matthew, and Mitchell. Great grandmother of Andre, Dante, and Fauzi. Sister of Margaret Miller-Gordon, deceased. Auntie of Patricia, Elaine, and Marilyn. Grand aunt of Simon, Adele, Jennifer, and Yves. Life long friend of Martha Richardson her dorm mate at Huron Lodge. Emily was a member of Lincoln Road United Church and the Major Tilston, V.C. branch of the I.O.D.E. Emily grew up in a family of teachers and though she was not a trained educator, she encouraged and supported all members of her family to strive for their potential. Sincere thanks to the Emer-gency and 3rd Floor staff at Hotel Dieu for the care and respect each attending member gave Emily. Words cannot fully express the gratitude felt by the family for the staff at Huron Lodge, a body of people chosen for their sensitivity and compassion. Each person who had contact with Emily over the years, from Administration to Maintenance, took the time to visit her room and share their memories of her. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Visiting at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1969 Wyandotte St. E. (252-5711) Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 11 a.m. Rev. Paul Almond officiating.
