GORZNY, Bruno Peacefully in Toronto, following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 82. Loving Husband of Mara (nee Mogus) and the late Joanna Gorzny. Dear Father of Trudy of Toronto; Marta Hargrove (Marc) of Markham and step-father to Matt Mazuran (Kathy) of Windsor. Will be sadly missed by his only living brother Zigmund "Siggy" and his wife Trude of Windsor and extended families in Germany and Argentina. Dearest Grandfather of Margie Mazuran, Michael John Mazuran, Matthew Whitham (Jennifer), Sarah Whitham and Christina Williams, Jeffery Hargrove and great grandfather of Kyla, Courtney and Tyler. Born in Poland and after living briefly in England and then Argentina, Bruno came to Windsor in search of a better life for his family. Bruno was a long term employee of General Motors of Canada and retired at 65 to enjoy quality time with his family. Friends may visit at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home , 1700 Tecumseh Road East (253-7234) on Thursday December 16th, 2004 from 6-9pm. A celebration of Bruno's life will take place on Friday December 17th, 2004 in the chapel at 11:00am. Fr. Jozo Cuic officiating. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Safehaven Project for Community Living c/o 1178 Bloor St. West, Toronto M6H 1M9 or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
