William "Bill" Edward Brown June 13, 1916 - December 01, 2004 BROWN, William "Bill" Edward Peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, Bill Brown in his 89th year. Remembered with love by his wife Clara, daughters Gail Alderson (Roy) and Deborah Wettges (Walter), predeceased by his son Raymond. Bill was "grandpa" to Jennifer Freeman (Grant), Lisa (Raymond), Adam (Amy), and Megan (Jeff) Wettges and "great-grandpa" to Aidan. Bill and Clara were married in 1941. He served with the Oxford Rifles in Prince George, B.C. during WWII and retired from Canadian Westinghouse in Hamilton in 1978. His retirement years were filled with family, friends, and golf. Friends may call at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, December 4, 2004 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment to follow in Garden Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
