BREWER, IDA BERNICE Ida B. Brewer of Victoria Corner and formerly of Zealand went home to be with her Lord on December 1, 2004 at Carleton Manor, Woodstock. Ida was a loving mother to her nine children. She was born at Zealand on April 23, 1913, a daughter of the late Herman and Maria (Gourley) Morehouse. Before their retirement, Ida and her husband Carvel operated Brewer's Bakery in Woodstock. She was a member of the Nackawic Wesleyan Church. She is survived by four daughters, Ulah Vallero (Don), Denver, Colorado, Connie Springer (Alvin), Elaine Seeley (Eldon), both of Hartland and Marion Oliver (Donald), Fredericton; three sons, Leonel Brewer (Marilyn), Hartland, Rev. Carl Brewer (Evelyn), Nackawic and Earl Brewer (Gloria), Fredericton; a grandson, Dana Vallero (Vicki), Wisconsin; twenty eight additional grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; a special family friend, Clarence Nevers, Coldstream; several nieces and nephews. Ida was predeceased by her husband Carvel in 1991, two sons, Sterling C. Brewer in 1943 and Allen Brewer in 2002, five sisters, Minnie Brewer, Josephine Crouse, Grace Brewer, Laura Crouse and Mary Fowler and two brothers, Byron Morehouse and Walter Morehouse. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church, 1125 Route 605 on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 2 p.m. Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating, assisted by Earl Brewer and Donald Oliver. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Interment will then take place at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Zealand. Pallbearers will be Mark Alward, Clarence Nevers, Harrie Thijssen and grandsons Timmy Brewer, Ricky Brewer and Mark Springer.
