Pete Brisson November 25, 1935 - December 01, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) Brisson, Pete 69 years, peacefully, on December 1, 2004 at his home in Windsor surrounded by those who he loved. Beloved husband of 45 years to Jeanne (nee Saumure). Loving father of Rick and Paula; Theresa and husband Thom Morris; and Mark and wife Cyndi. Dear son of the late Omer and Adrienne (nee Groulx).Dear son-in-law of Helene Saumure. Cherished papa of Kara, Meaghan, Brittany, Kyle, Jessica, Joshua, Rachel and Trevor. Dear brother of Oscar and wife Lorraine; Alice Lemieux, of Dearborn, Mi.; Beatrice and husband Art Lefebvre; Henri and wife Toni, of Long Beach, Cal.; Aunt Pauline Groulx: and the late Lucille, Annette, Jeanne, Madeleine, Francoise, Rita, Marcel, Marie and Patricia. Dear brother-in-law of Johny and wife Jessie Saumure; Gerry and wife Elida Saumure; Rita and husband David Wagner (Best Buddies) and will be remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Left to carry on, one day at a time, his cherished friend Gerry Mantha. "Mr. Pete" was a longtime employee of the Windsor Separate School Board, was a member of the Bishop John T. Kidd Council 4924 Knights of Columbus and the Janisse Drive Euchre Club. Visiting Saturday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 7:00 p.m. followed by K. of C. prayers. The funeral will be held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Rd. Tecumseh (735-2830) to St. Rose de Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Dino Salvador will be the celebrant. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Canadian Food for Children, 892 St. Mary's Blvd., Windsor N8S 2T9 would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Pete Brisson in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
