LASCHEWSKI, Katie It is with deep sadness that the Laschewski family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved Katie in her 81st year on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. Beloved wife of Victor. Loving mother of Sylvia (Jake Jakop), George Laschewski, Heidi (Randy McBride). Cherished Baba of Gina, Jake, Natalie, Tori, Vanessa, Laura, Rachel and the late Nicholas. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in the Ukraine. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave at Richmond Rd on Monday, December 6, 2004 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at the Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Byron Ave on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 10 am. Interment to follow at the Ukrainian Cemetery, Merivale Rd. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Ukranian Orthodox Cathedral or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
