GAW, Terrence Arthur It is with great sorrow that the family of Terry Gaw announce his passing at the age of 56 on December 1, 2004. Survived by the love of his life, his wife of 34 years, Bonnie, his cherished daughters Amanda, Marnie and son-in-law Eric Crone, Marcy and son-in-law Matthew Draker, his cherubic grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah and Lily and his faithful companions, Sophia and Jefferson. Predeceased by his parents John Gaw (1976), his father-in-law Ivan Hartley (1981), his mother, June Gaw (1997), "...the best dog I ever had..." Brandy (2000) and his partner in crime, brother-in-law, Ken Hartley (2001). Also survived by his mother-in-law, "Frannie" Hartley, sister dale Lennan-Hart (Bob Chambers), brother Brad (Holly) Gaw, aunts Dorothy (John) Hyde and Gale (Gary) Kersey and sister-in-law, Donna Willan. Missed already by treasured nieces and nephews Danna Lansue (Jon Copeman), Kyle (Sandy) Hartley and Trishia (Larry) Hartley; Sierra (Juniper) Hart and Braden Chambers: Katie Morris, Mandi Torris and Jodee Gaw. Dear and close friends of Larry & Diana Zink, Bill & Janet Mathieson, Peter & Mary Jane Humble, Murray & Chris Payne, Logan & Yvonne MacKenzie, Anita Burling & family and Dr. Robert & Janis Borek. Terry was born in 1947 in Petrolia, Ontario. He was raised in his beloved Corunna where he and Bonnie settled to raise their daughters in 1980. He loved his truck, fishing on Manitoulin Island, his florida holidays, the St. Clair River, writing poetry and entertaining his friends and family with his many jokes in the kitchen his brother built for him. His wife and daughters are taking great comfort in the fact that he probably is flying down the Florida intercoastal 80 miles an hour on a cigarette boat with the sun shining on his tan face, free from pain and suffering. Friends will be received at the Knight Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Interment Moore-Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the St. Clair River Trail, the Sarnia Humane Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundations, Knight (519) 862-2845. Published in the Windsor Star on 12/4/2004.
