Walter Volchuk November 22, 1920 - December 02, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) 84 years, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2004 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus. Predeceased by parents Alex and Rose Volchuk and sister Mary Bennard. Brother-in-law to Albert Bennard of Timmins. Dear uncle to Beverly and husband Jim Brady of Toronto. Also survived by nephew Patrick Brady of England and niece Mary Anne Brady and family. Will be sadly missed by long time friend Steve Kotsis and wife Kanela and their children Gregory Kotsis and Sophia Perkovich. Walter retired from Daimler Chrysler after 37 years of service. Friends will be received at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Saturday, December 4, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Fr. Al Williams officiating. Cremation will follow and the interment of cremated remains will take place in Timmins, ON. A tree will be planted in memory of Walter Volchuk in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
