SHRIVES, Douglas William Pike, M.D. (Reddendale Family Health Centre and Bayridge Medical Centre, Kingston; Markham Mews Medical Centre; North Ajax Medical; Harbourfront Health and Wellness Centre) Suddenly in Toronto on Thursday, December 2, 2004, at the age of 42 years. Beloved and devoted son of Florence and Ken of Newcastle. Cherished brother of Tom and his children Joshua and Shane, all of Ottawa. Doug will be sadly missed by all of his extended family and many friends. A celebration of Doug's life will be held in the chapel of the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S., Newcastle (exit 440, just north of 401 at the lights, 1-877-987-3964) on Tuesday, December 7, at 1:00 p.m., with visiting for one hour prior to the service.
