DERBY, Beatrice (nee Wallis) Passed away peacefully in Vancouver on her 96th birthday, December 3, 2004. Her husband, Edwin Stevenson Derby, predeceased her in 1970. Born in London, England, Bea enjoyed life in Winnipeg and later in Vancouver. She is survived by her children: Ken Derby (Irene Zilinski), Sheila Way (Rob Way) all of Vancouver, and Dr. Joan Ferguson (Bill Ferguson) of Ottawa. She has 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. A family memorial service will be held in January. Condolences can be emailed to beaderby@canada.com.
