Robert LeBlanc l'Acadie Nouvelle - 24 mars 2005 BOUCTOUCHE – À l’Hôpital Stella-Maris-de-Kent de Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, le mercredi 23 mars 2005, à l’âge de 51 ans, est décédé après une longue lutte contre le cancer, Robert LeBlanc, époux de Fédora (Saulnier) LeBlanc, domicilié à Bouctouche. Né à White Settlement le 13 janvier 1954, il était fils de François LeBlanc et de Jeanita Babineau de Notre-Dame-de-Kent. Outre son épouse et ses parents, il laisse dans le deuil deux filles: Jolyne de Bouctouche et Christine Arsenault (Marc) de Saint-Paul-de-Kent; quatre soeurs: Yvette Girouard (René) de Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Huberte Maillet (Bob) de Winnipeg, Manitoba, Denise Landry (Paul) de Moncton et Joanne Gagnon (Jean) de Québec; quatre frères: Jean-Paul (Simonne) de Cocagne, Yvon (Jeanne) de Morinville, Alberta, Michel (Murielle) de Dartmouth, N.-É. et Ronald (Louise) de Bouctouche; une petite-fille, Josée, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. M. LeBlanc était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb 7010 de Bouctouche et a été bénévole pour de nombreuses autres organisations. Il a fait sa carrière en aviation pendant 25 années et a travaillé pour Forest Protection Ltd pendant 15 ans comme pilote d’un bombardier d’eau. La dépouille mortelle est présentement exposée à la Maison funéraire Maillet ltée, 29, rue de l’Église à Bouctouche. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Bouctouche, le jeudi 24 mars, à 16h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial. Heures de visites: le jeudi 24 mars, de 14h à 15h45. La direction des funérailles a été confiée aux soins professionnels de la Maison funéraire Maillet de Bouctouche. Born in White Settlement, NB on January 13, 1954 he was the son of Francois LeBlanc and Jeanita Babineau. Robert attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Robert had a great career in aviation for 25 years, which he loved very much. He was employed by Forest Protection Ltd for 15 years as a water bomber pilot. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a volunteer for many organizations. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Robert is survived by his wife, Fédora LeBlanc; mother, Jeanita (Babineau) LeBlanc; father, Francois LeBlanc, of Notre-Dame de Kent, NB; two daughters, Jolyne of Bouctouche, Christine Arsenault (Marc) of Saint-Paul de Kent; four sisters, Yvette Girouard (René) of Saint-Marie de Kent, Huberte Maillet (Bob) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Denise Landry (Paul) of Moncton, Joanne Gagnon (Jean) of Québec; four brothers, Jean-Paul (Simonne) of Cocagne, Yvon (Jeanne) of Morinville, Alberta, Michel (Murielle) of Dartmouth, NS, Ronald (Louise) of Bouctouche; one grandchild, Josée; several nephews and nieces. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche with visitation on Wednesday, March 23 from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 2 to 3:45 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 4:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
