Dennis Carl Van Luven 1922-2004 The family announces with sorrow, his death at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls, ON, on Saturday, December 4th, 2004, at the age of 82. Dear husband of Ada Van Luven (nee Gooch), dearest father of the late Linda Van Luven (1965), Margaret (Fred) Noland, Esther (Sean) Noland, both of Iroquois Falls, ON, Carl Van Luven of South Porcupine, ON, Alfred (suzette) Van Luven, Barbara (Dennis) Bedard, Raymond Van Luven all of Iroquois Falls, ON and Marlene (Calvin) Doey of Nellie Lake, ON. He will stay in the memories of his 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will be missed by his sisters Bessie (Russell) Lauay of Cambridge, ON and Margaret (Bob) Colbath of Bedet, Minnesota. Predeceased by his parents Bruce and Altie, his brothers Fred, Allan, Bob, Bert and Lloyd. The family will receive friends at Salon Funéraire Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 DeTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, on Monday, December 6th, 2004 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 7th, 2004, at 10:30 am at the Kingdom Hall of Jehova’s Witness in Matheson, ON. Spring interment at the Porquis Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
