Abbott (née Vass) December 24, 1913 - December 05, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Halifax) ABBOTT (Vass), Christina A. - Passed away Sunday, December 5, 2004, in Northwood Centre. She is survived by her husband, Chesley, Halifax; daughters, Dolores Bell (Lester), Niagara Falls, Ont.; Barbara LeRue (Stan), Halifax; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Abbott. She was predeceased by one grandson, one great-granddaughter; sisters, Ida Farquharson and Hazel Dunsworth. Visitation will be today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, with funeral service being held Wednesday, December 8, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Brent Carter, Sheffield Baptist Church, officiating. Burial to follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Hatchett Lake. Family flowers only. Donations to a charity of choice.
