LINDSAY, Anne - A resident of the city for 55 years passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 5th. She went with God's mercy, quietly and without pain.Ê Anne was born in Hungary, but came to Canada very young and was raised in Sarnia and Ingersoll, Ontario.Ê She came to Niagara Falls for her honeymoon in 1947, fell in love and decided to return and raise a family. Predeceased by her son Stephen, and her ex husband Bill. Anne will be dearly missed by her sons William, David, Douglas and Richard, daughters-in-law; Suzanne, Colleen, Charmaine and Barbara.Ê Anne leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Branwen, Erin, Tim, Shannon, Andrew, Lisa, Jennifer, Stephen, Cassondra, Joseph and Lavinia and many dear friends younger and older as well as Bubby, her faithful grey cat. Anne was a very independent soul.Ê She loved to visit family in Alberta and Ontario.Ê She liked a good adventure. She was fun loving and kind. Over the years she was always busy and employed, working at the Review, Chef Boy Ar Dee, Nabisco, Bright's and others.Ê Anne was a member of the Niagara Falls Legion Branch #51 and a long-time member of St. Patrick's Church. Funeral arrangements by Morse & Son Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes.Ê Cremation will be followed by a funeral mass and memorial at St. Patrick's Church on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Thanks to those who came to her aid on the spot and the doctors and nurses at G.N.G.H.
