BARNES, Leonard 81 years, passed away on December 5, 2004, at Windsor Western Hospital. Beloved husband of Orpha & the late Jean (1992). Dear father of Lynn & husband Dave, Sandra Tripp and Michael Barnes. Stepfather of Nancy Trowbridge & Mary Olberding. Grandfather of Stephanie, Ryan, Melinda and Jenna. Leonard was a WW II veteran, a long time member of Chalmers United Church, a long time volunteer at Metropolitan Hospital Operating Room, a retired electrician at Hiram Walker after 34 years of service, and a board member and Vice President of the Jack Van Impe Ministries in Canada. Visiting in the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1969 Wyandotte St. E., on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 (time to be determined) Rev. Reuben Ellis officiating. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. Memorial tributes to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Published in the Windsor Star on 12/6/2004.
