PROCTOR, JOSEPH It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our kind and gentle "GiGi, just three days passed his 89th Birthday, with his loving family by his side, on Sunday, December 5, 2004. Loving husband of 60 years to Stella (Greniuk). Dedicated father to Terry, Joanna and husband Bill, Bettyann and husband Dr. Dean Favot. Fun-loving grandfather to, Andrea, B.J., Devon, Daniel, Joe and Starlet. Gone to spend Christmas in Heaven with his dad and mom, Rose and Fred Prokopchuk, brothers Tony, Mike, Stan and Walter, and sisters Helen, Edna and Francis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Spoiled babysitter to his best canine friend, Beauty. Born in Sifton, Manitoba in 1915 and a proud Ukranian. Joe was the retired owner of the Walker Road Tavern for over 30 years. He was a dedicated member ot the Ukrainian Business & Professional Community, Kiwanais Club of Windsor, Moose Lodge and the Windsor Race Track. Joe will long be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends as a kind person with an incredible generous heart who loved life to the fullest and cherished his grandchildren with all his soul. An extra special thank you to his son-in-law Dr. Dean Favot, who he trusted deeply, for the extra loving care he received.
