James "Norman" Phillips James "Norman" "Jake" of Evergreen Drive, Moncton, NB and formerly of Springhill, NS, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2004 in The Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of the late John and Frances (Gullens) Phillips. He owned and operated his own trucking company for 25 years and enjoyed being with his friends, family and his buddy Rufus. He is survived by his wife the former Carolyn Purdy; sons, Jack (Rena) Phillips and James (Nancy) Phillips all of Kitchener, Ontario; daughter, Sherri (Jason) Russell of Riverview, NB; brothers, Gerald (Linda) Carter, Robert (Carolyn) Phillips all of Truro, NS, William (Rosemary) Phillips of Kitchener, Ontario and George (Arvilla) Phillips of Oshawa, Ontario; sister, Doris Fear of Springhill, NS; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Gladys. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2004 and 1 to 2 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2004 followed immediately at 2:00 PM by a Memorial Funeral Service, all held in A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill, NS, with The Reverend Frank Likely officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Oxford, NS. Donations to the Multiple Systems Atrophy Research or charity of choice would be appreciated
