VALIAHO, Dr. Arvo Johannes In loving memory of Dr. Arvo Johannes Valiaho, 70 years, who passed away Tuesday morning, May 31st, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved husband of Marion (Muncaster) Valiaho of Sudbury. Loving father of Martin, Elizabeth and Catherine. Dear son of Jussi and Bertha (Nasi) Valiaho both predeceased. Dear cousin of Aili Heino (husband Ed), Bill Nasi (wife Beverly) and Doris Kolton (husband Michael). Dear brother-in-law of Patrick and Lois Muncaster, Margaret and Richard Burgess and Michael Muncaster. Sadly missed by many friends, nieces, nephews, and family in Finland. Born in Sudbury, grew up in Creighton, he married Marion in 1959. He attended University of Toronto and graduated with a degree in medicine, specializing in radiology. He returned to Sudbury in 1966 and practised in area hospitals until his retirement in 1997. He had a love of travelling and he enjoyed spending his summers relaxing with his family at camp on Black Lake. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Friday, June 3rd, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to Heart & Stroke Fund, Diabetic Association or St. Timothy's Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
