KILPATRICK, Peter Archibald In loving memory of Peter Archibald Kilpatrick, November 20th, 1936 - June 18th, 2005. With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Peter Kilpatrick. Wrapped in the loving arms of his daughters Karen, Christine and Victoria and with a boarding pass in hand, Peter made his final journey to join his family in Heaven. Peter spent his entire 69 years surrounded by his close friends and family in Sudbury. He worked for Bell Canada, spent 25 years selling cars and ended his working career driving his cab. Peter loved to golf, ski, play basketball, watch his sports and drink beer. He was an active member of the Lockerby Legion Br. 564 and helped others at Lockerby Towers where he lived. Peter will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by daughters Karen Goodchild (Mark) of Lake Louise, AB., Christine Kilpatrick-Bowes (Gordon) of Calgary, AB., Victoria Kilpatrick of Vancouver, B.C., and former wife, Delores "Gus" (nee Thomson) Kilpatrick of Surrey, B.C. Grandpa to Mason and Lara Goodchild and Mackenzie and Megan Bowes. He taught his grandchildren to appreciate outdoor activities and to love sports. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Ken and Isobel (nee Baxter) Kilpatrick, sisters Suzie predeceased (Joe Mott of Sudbury), Mary-Jane predeceased (Frank Bisson of Elliot Lake), his brother Tom and his wife Barb Kilpatrick both predeceased. Lovingly remembered as Uncle Peter to Kenny, Chrissy, Robbie, Jeffrey, Jamie, Tommy, Kathy and Anne and their spouses and great uncle to their children. Peter was a social butterfly and cherished his many pals especially Jack Eldridge and Kees Steinhart. His daughters would like to express their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Kees who gently guided them through this difficult time. A special thanks to nurses Carmen and Angel.
