PARISOTTO, Pasquale "Pat" In loving memory of Pasquale "Pat" Parisotto, 73 years of Azilda who passed away Monday evening, September 26th, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Provedoi, Venezia, Italy and married Luciana (Daru) in Italy in 1958. Pasquale came to the Sudbury area in 1948 from Italy. He worked in the Transportation Department at INCO retiring in 1991 with 41 years service. A Roman Catholic he belonged to St. Alexander's Parish and he was a former member of the Caruso Club. He enjoyed travelling during the winter months, fishing at a friends camp and tending to his garden. In younger years he and his family built the bowling alley in Azilda. He had a great affinity for animals especially his canine buddy Rocky. An accomplished wine maker he enjoyed sharing a glass of wine with his friends over a card game or just a good visit. Pat will be remembered as a quiet and gracious man with a strong work ethic. He was devoted to his loving family especially his precious grandchildren in whom he took great pride and interest in their activities & accomplishments. The light of his life will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew him. Beloved husband of Luciana "Lucy" (Daru) Parisotto predeceased 2004. Loving father of Larry (wife Nicoletta) of Azilda and Roberto (wife Patricia) of Sudbury. Cherished Nonno of Cristina, Giuliana, Marco, Carlee and Natalee. Dear son of Ricardo and Elena (Caverson) Parisotto predeceased. Loving brother of Valentino "Gino", Gedelone "Bepi" and Ruggero "Roger" all predeceased, Beatrice "Rosetta" of Azilda, Maria (husband Romeo Sarri) of Australia, Assunta Fraulin of Azilda, Luciano "Lou" of Chelmsford and Romano "Ray" (wife Diane) of Azilda. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Alexander's Church, Azilda, Friday, September 30th, 2005 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Prayers 3 p.m. Thursday. Donations to the Lucy Parisotto Bursary c/o Cambrian College or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Thursday).
