LUCIEN SAVARD 1924-2004 The family announces with great sorrow his death at his residence on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Husband of the late Alice (Nee Morin), January 6, 1983. Survived by a dear friend of the family Jienette Guirdon of Timmins and dearest brother of Ronald Savard, Marie Dumoulin (late Lucien), Gilberte Numainville (late Roland) all of Timmins, Maurice Savard (wife Buryle) of Welland and Claude Savard (wife Helena) of Timmins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Archille Savard, Evelyn Dubroy, Thérèse Bazinet and Onézime Chaput as well as his parents Adelard and Alexina Savard. Lucien was born on November 3, 1924 in Gogama, Ontario and moved to Timmins at the age of 16 years. Lucien worked for many years as a foreman with McChesney Lumber. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2004 from Notre Dame de la Paix Church (formerly Notre Dame de Lourdes). Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
