LAPORTE, Valerie J. (nee Levack) Born March 31, 1920, died December 7, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Victor Laporte (1958). Dear mother of Sandra Blake and husband Richard of Windsor. Predeceased by son Victor Laporte Jr. (1967). Dear meme to 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren. One sister Rita Magone of LaSalle. Predeceased by brother and sisters Bert, Leo, May, Irene. Longtime employee of Beach Grove Golf and Curling Club. Past member of St. Anne Church Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation will be held at St. Anne Church, Tecumseh, on Thursday December 9, 2004 a from 12 pm. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm. Interment St Anne Church. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Valerie Laporte in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
